8th Grade Road Trip

Finally it is here. Eighth Grade students you have waited for 3 years to go on this trip. Here are the details.

Cost: Free (Bring money for 3 fast food meals

Description: This is a fun event just for 8th grade students. There really isn't much planned for the trip because we will go where the students want to go. It is completely a road trip.

To Bring: Clothing for 2 days and 1 night, Money for 3 fast food meals, and lots of money ofr a mother's day present!

Sunday Night Small Groups

This past Sunday Night we had our first small group from the ON THE LOT series. It was a great study about making the Word of God come to life in your personal life. Everything about this series comes back to us being part of a something big. God has included every one of us to be in His Big Epic Story and has given us a script (The Bible) for us to experience Him with.

If you have never been a part of our small groups we have many things going on. We have football, soccer, basketball, and the Wii. We have been playing these games every week for the past year and we have not had any real injuries until this past week. We had two different people get hurt this week. Here is a picture of a student that was playing basketball.

On The Lot Week 1

Wow! We had another great night and another person accepted Christ as their savior. God is Awesome!

On the Lot was a fun and exciting series to begin. Last night we had a red carpet entrance, free popcorn, and a huge paper airplane battle. Here is a slide show from last night.

Last night we discussed how amazing it is so amazing how a director and a cast can make words that were written on a script come to life. We are all part of a big epic story and we are the cast in God' s story living out what He has written in His Book.

I can't wait until next week. It is going to be just as exciting!

Ignition Service Apil 9th

We had a great service last night. The most exciting thing that we had happen last night was that we had one student come to know Christ. God is amazing!



Our theme for last night was "What Goes Around" and this is our third study in this series. We have discussed throughout this series the difference between Karma and Grace. Last night we finished the series by talking about living out Grace in our lives.

This past weekend we attended the Jr High Believe Conference. We had 30 people go to the conference and it was a blast. Here is a video that I showed of the conference last night. The song is a a song that started every service for the Believe Conference and in some of the pictures you can see students dancing and have a good time to the tune of "Mas Tortillas"



It was a good week and I am looking for to next week We are going to start a new series. I will let you know everything about it on the next post.
