SEX/DATING Week 3

Another Great Week!

It was an exciting night last night the band did a remix of the song "Time After Time". The drummer rewrote the lyrics to fit the message and it turned out to be a great song.

Ten off for Youth Alive

The first 10 parents of middle school students that respond to this post will get $10 off of the total cost of the summer conference. Please sign your name and the name to the student that will be attending the conference.

Youth Alive

Hey Everyone it is almost summer and that means it is time to sign up for our Summer Conference. It is coming up July 21st-25th. This year we are attending Youth Alive with Tim Lee Ministries. It has a great line up for this year with musicians, drama teams, and speakers. This year we will be going back to Chattanooga to Tennessee Temple University. There will be many activities and competitions throughout the week, including a day at Six Flags.

Cost for this year's conference is $225 if you pay a $50 deposit by June 25th, after that the cost will rise to $250 per person.

SEX/DATING Week 2

Wednesday Night was another great night in Middle School. It has been so exciting since we have moved into the Fusion Building.

I just want to take a moment to recognize the students that come early to setup. Ya'll really bring the entire night together. I really appreciate everything that you guys do and the amount of time you spend each week creating the Wednesday Night experience.

We discussed this week about the role of dating. Often students get involved in relationships that rule their life. It really becomes an idol that takes over every other area of their life. It is really important to make sure our dating relationships come next to our relationship with Jesus Christ.

8th Grade Road Trip Review

We had a great trip. We had 13 people go on the trip and it was the perfect amount. We set up a 27 inch HDTV in the van and we played Mario Kart on the Wii. I have to admit it looked really cool. We did a ton of different activities such as shopping, play video games and hiking. Every activity was a blast!

This year we took probably one of the most involved classes that we have ever had. These guys really have become ministers in the middle school ministry. Here is a video that shows some pictures of these students from the past 3 years.

SEX/DATING Week 1

We had a great night last night. It was week 1 of our new series SEX/DATING and I thought that it went real well. I just want to give a shout out to all the students running media last night. You guys did a great job, there was a ton of media things to do and you all did a great job with everything.

New Series - SEX, DATING

It is here!



Every couple of years I teach on SEX and DATING and it is that time again. In the past this has always been a popular series. I am expecting many people to come and be a part of the new series. I am also excited because I believe that this series has the potential to have a huge impact on every middle school student's life. I am looking forward to what God has in store for us during this series.

Middle School Student Band

Last night was awesome!

The CORR(our regular band) played "All over the World" and "I am Free and did a great job. We had a new lead vocal last night and she did a great job leading everyone. Jamie thanks for joining the team you have been a huge blessing. Everyone was having a good time worshipping God.

We also introduced a new band that has only Middle School Students playing and leading worship. They did an outstanding job. Tiffany, Karissa, Ally, and Kaylin lead with vocals, Cameron on drums, Jaxon on bass, Bryce on Lead Guitar, and Mikaila and Lynette on Keyboards. You guys are awesome!
