New Series "Doubt"

For the next two weeks we are going to discuss doubt.

You know those nagging questions that seem to linger in the back of your mind? The ones you hesitate to ever speak out loud, admit you have, or let anyone else know you think? Questions like: “Does God hear me when I pray?” “Does He have a plan for my life?” “Does God really have everything under control?” Questions and doubts can be unsettling if they are left unsaid. We begin to think we are alone in our doubts, and often our doubts only grow until they paralyze our faith. But when we learn to admit our doubts openly, we learn that we are not the only ones—that everyone deals with it. And when we learn to live with doubt in a healthy way, doubt can be a tool that strengthens our faith.

Winter Jam

Hey Everyone, It has been a long time since I have posted anything. It is now 2009 and I am so excited about the things that are planned for this year. Here is the first event for 2009.



It is Winter Jam in Concert at the Macon Centreplex. It is Sunday January the 18th. It will take the place of small groups for that night.

This is a small group event if you are in a small group you are welcome to come to this event. If you are not in a small group I want to encourage you to come this Sunday to small groups so that you can be a part of this event.

It is going to be an exciting night. We will meet at the Church at 4:15pm and then return at 10:00pm. The cost is $10 per person and need to bring that with you.

I am not sure if they will be selling concessions or not so you will probably want to eat before you come. They will have merchandise for sale at the event.
